Money 102: Money Management (10-28-24 TTh 1p)


Description
Take the next step towards financial literacy! This is our second course in our money series, extending learning completed in our Money 101: Money Matters course. Students will identify income and expenses, estimate item costs, explore online banking and build a basic budget!

To Enroll, students must have taken STRIVE WorldWIDE’s Money 101 course or an equivalent.


This course will run from 10/28-12/1/2024
Seminars will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays 1-2pm

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Understand where their money comes from: benefits, pay, allowance
Define and Identify income, expenses and debt
Estimate items costs
Read an online bank statement comparing credits and debits
Explain the difference between a bank and a credit union
Write a check and identify the parts of a check
Create a basic budget
